I wanted to depict the Mario brothers as the bro-dudes they were in their teens.

new year's resolution.

I used to find the idea of a "new year's resolution" ridiculous...

and then I neglected my blog / my art for a while. :(

My new year's resolution, and I know that I'm early to proclaim this, is to revive my art venture. I vow to art and art again. 2012 will be the year I art my heart's delight out. 

Unless I die. 

That would suck.

Wakka

Now, this isn't how I remember Wakka from Final Fantasy X but I probably would have used him more often than necessary if so. In any case, I'm not done with Wakka just yet. He got off way to easily in this picture.

What's missing? The remaining Besaid Aurochs.

Update

It's been so long since I've posted. Though I've neglected this blog, I have not neglected my work. I have consistently posted work to my deviantart account and I am currently working on an adult flash project.

Details for the game, Blackjerk, will be posted later. As of now, it's about 60% done and I aim to release it by the end of this week. Everyone cross their fingers. :D

ZOAH

I LOVE ZOAH. ZOAH IS FROM CHRONO CROSS AND HE TALKS LIKE THIS IN-GAME. SOME WIKIS SAY IT MAY SIGNIFY ZOAH HAVING A DEEP VOICE OR THAT HE'S SHOUTING THROUGH HIS HELMET. I THINK ITS CAUSE HE'S TO SEXY FOR SILENCE. OR CONSERVATIVE CLOTHING.

Anyway, I don't find Zoah sexy... I'm moreso fond of Zoah. It could have to do with his "mammoth" build (Squaresoft's words, not mine) or something. I don't know. Surely I'll need to re-illustrate him with another "mammoth" quality, if you know what I mean. ;D

Disrobing Zegram

Meet Zegram.

Zegram stars in one of my all-time favorites: Rogue Galaxy. Seriously, if you haven't played it; do it. The game offers alternate costumes for its characters and while liberal amounts of skin is shown for female characters (of course), the men receive the short end of the stick. I figured with the trace of tribal tattoo poking out of his shirt, there would have been a shirtless costume for fans to marvel at what lies beneath.

Or something, right? Well, wrong.

So again, I'm not claiming to be a great artist... but here's what I would expect to see:

 I eventually want to revisit this picture; providing a full-nude Zegram for you with a much better tattoo. Until then, I would think Zegram lovers would welcome this with open arms. And now I must stop before this post reeks of any more vanity.
